State of the state

Ed is consistantly right on, and it seems as if no one cares. Do they?? Is anyone else thinking of moving out of this place??

  1. Ed A. bangs the same drum practically every week. He's right of course but he's like the boy who cried wolf. As to your question, John, yes, as soon as I can retire!

  2. I have now lived in Rhode Island for 16 years . Since 1998 [ 11 years ] since I am now retired I have a winter residence in Florida, summer and fall in R.I. Last fall the parasites who run the state government doubled the price to cross the Newport [ Pell ] Bridge from $ 2.00 to $ 4.00 each way . That means for us to have the privilege of spending our money in Newport on an occasional weekend , just to get in and out of town , it now costs $ 8.00 . Rhode Island is corrupt and greedy from the top on down . That was the final straw , when I return this spring , I intend to look elsewhere such as a cottage on a lake in New Hampshire . Rhode Island can go to HELL
